Bracknell is RG12 and RG42 — Easthampstead and Wildridings, Great Hollands, Hanworth, Harmans Water and Crown Wood, Bullbrook, and north to Binfield and Warfield West. It is a unitary authority in its own right, separate from Berkshire's other five. Bracknell was designated a new town in 1949, and the housing reflects it: ownership was 66.8% at the 2021 census with social renting also at 15.7%, an unusually even three-way split.
