For the same pattern in a kitchen, the herringbone rigid-vinyl range is the click alternative; there is no chevron in vinyl in the range.

Herringbone is the traditional zig-zag and forgives a squarer room; chevron is the continuous arrow and wants a room with length. Chevron blocks are mitred, so the setting-out is less forgiving and the border matters more. The comparison guide takes it further.
Both Knightsbridge Chevron boards are engineered, 14 mm thick, and listed for underfloor heating, on a screed that is dry and a system that has been commissioned first.
The oak chevron is for dry rooms. For a patterned floor in a kitchen the rigid-vinyl herringbone, listed as waterproof, is the range to look at; there is no vinyl chevron in the range.
Whatever the house, read the fitting instructions before the quotation is agreed, then keep the moisture readings with the delivery note, so the conditions the floor was laid in are on paper.
