BD1 through BD9, together with BD14 and BD18, cover Manningham, Heaton, Great Horton, Little Horton, Bradford Moor, Eccleshill, Bowling and Barkerend, and Idle and Thackley. Terraced properties make up 33.0% of this metropolitan district's homes and semi-detached 36.7%, leaving flats at 15.4%. Terraces of that kind commonly have a solid ground floor, sometimes with later screed laid over it, and joisted floors above, so a moisture reading comes first and levelling second. Owner occupation has slipped to 61.7% from 65.0% ten years before, with private renting now 23.0% — a segment where a durable covering over a properly prepared base usually beats an elaborate build-up.
The stock in Bradford splits between semis and terraces, more than a third in each, from Great Horton and Bowling out to Bingley, Heaton and Eccleshill. Much of the older housing has a suspended timber ground floor with a ventilated void under it, and that void is open to outside air all year.

On the right underlay over a heated or insulated floor, yes; over a cold void with a thin underlay, no floor is. Over underfloor heating the laminates in the range are listed as compatible and the underlay is chosen for it.
Many Heaton villas have a cellar under the front rooms, and that is worth knowing before you choose. It gives access to the underside of the floor, so insulation can go in from below without lifting a single board — and a cold villa floor is usually a cold void, not a thin covering.
