The unitary authority of Bedford is served through MK40, MK41 and MK42, covering Brickhill, De Parys, Goldington, Harpur, Biddenham, Great Denham and the Kempston wards. Detached houses hold 27.8% of the stock and semis 33.0%, flats 18.4%, with an unusual 0.9% in mobile or temporary accommodation. Ownership has drifted from 65.7% to 62.7% since 2011 and shared ownership stands at 1.9%.
