BML Smoked Limed Oak Wide is a wide plank in rigid vinyl that follows a smoked oak board with a lime wash in the grain: 6.5 mm thick, 228 mm by 1524 mm, textured, micro-bevelled, click-fitted. The colour is listed as smoked oak, the darker brown-grey of a fumed floor, lightened by the liming.

It is the wide board for a kitchen that wants age and depth without a dark floor, and since the plank itself is waterproof it runs through to the back door and the utility room. The wear layer is 0.55 mm, the underlay is bonded on, and the boards are floated on a click joint; the subfloor beneath must be flat and dry. Commercial grade, listed as compatible with underfloor heating; a box holds 5 boards for 1.74 square metres; the manufacturer's warranty is 25 years.
