Tamworth is B77, B78 and B79 — Castle, Bolehall, Belgrave, Amington, Dordon, and out to Baddesley and Grendon. It is a district of Staffordshire, and like Redditch it shares the B postcode with Birmingham while belonging to a different county entirely. Tamworth expanded substantially under a town development agreement from the 1960s, taking overspill population from Birmingham, so much of the housing is of that period and sits on a concrete ground floor.
