Ascot Coffee Oak is a dark, Classic grade board in the narrow Ascot format: engineered European oak, 14 mm thick, 125 mm wide in random lengths from 300 mm to 1200 mm, brushed and matt lacquered, with a 3 mm wear layer. The coffee tone is the warm side of dark oak, brown rather than black, and the Classic grade keeps it even.

A dark floor shows dust and fine scratches as pale lines, and this board answers that two ways: the brushed surface breaks the lines up, and the matt lacquer avoids the sheen that makes them catch the light. The lacquer wipes clean and is refinished as a whole floor when it has worn. Tongue and groove, micro-bevelled, listed as compatible with underfloor heating; each box covers 1.8 square metres, and the manufacturer's warranty is 15 years.
